This August 1952 Fawcett issue puts "The World's Mightiest Boy" front and center — Captain Marvel Jr. leaps forward in his blue-and-gold costume, red cape billowing, as a small army of panicked criminals scatters in every direction beneath him, some dropping their weapons mid-flight. Bud Thompson's cover makes the message unmistakable: crime simply doesn't stand a chance when this hero is on the scene, and the interior promises more adventure with "Battle in the Roman Arena" by writer Bill Woolfolk and artist Joe Certa.
