This August 1948 Fawcett issue puts the World's Mightiest Mortal front and center, his red-and-gold costume gleaming as he delivers a thunderous "WHAM!" that sends a suited villain flying in a burst of stars and lightning. A circular inset panel tells the setup neatly: a boy shouts "SHAZAM!" while a sneering, hat-wearing schemer laughs "Heh! Heh!" — hinting at whatever mischief drives "The Electron Thief." C. C.
