In "Captain Marvel Battles the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man," Captain Marvel faces a new kind of threat when Mr. Mind, frustrated by his failed schemes, turns to propaganda—writing a book called Mind Kampf to spread his ideology. With the help of one of his monsters, Mr. Mind manipulates Captain Marvel into using his powers to accelerate the book’s release, but the hero quickly finds a way to outwit the scheme. Written by Otto Binder and illustrated by C. C. Beck, with cover art by C. C. Beck and Pete Costanza, this 1944 classic blends pulp-style villainy with the hero’s trademark wit and courage.
