As the villain’s sinister plan unfolds, the team sets out to track down Salamandroid, only to wake up moments later with no memory of their mission and no powers at all.

In "This Bunny Unbound!", Superman finds himself stranded in a bizarre dimension of talking animals after a strange ray from Pluto disrupts reality. There, he meets Rodney Rabbit, a carrot-powered hero in a Halloween costume who’s just as baffled by the animal-like behavior plaguing his world. Together, the two unlikely allies set out to uncover the truth behind the madness—before the whole dimension goes fully feral.

When Superman vanishes trying to breach the mysterious space barrier beyond Pluto, Captain Carrot crashes back to Earth—only to be caught in the arms of Pig-Iron. Together, they rally a new group of super-powered animal heroes and return to the barrier, only to be suddenly transported to Pluto itself. There, they find Superman imprisoned by the alien menace Starro the Conqueror, and must join forces to face the threat. The story ends with them forming a new team, The Zoo Crew.
