The cover copy introduces him simply as "Pops," and the tagline makes the stakes plain: he might be more powerful than Captain Atom... more powerful than anybody. With Kelley Puckett writing, Colleen Doran penciling, and Terry Austin inking interiors, and Cynthia Martin delivering this striking cover, Captain Atom #51 sets up what looks like a genuinely compelling threat wrapped in an ordinary-looking man.
