This 64-page 1990 annual kicks off "The Terminus Factor" — a five-part crossover — with a cover by Herb Trimpe that sets an ominous tone immediately: Captain America, shield in hand, is battered and reeling while Iron Man surges forward, both heroes dwarfed by the looming, massive face of Terminus glowering behind them. Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, and Jim Valentino bring the interior story "You Are What You Eat" to life, promising plenty of Marvel muscle against one of the universe's more imposing threats. At two dollars for 64 pages, it's a generous slab of 1990 Marvel storytelling right from the opening chapter.
