Captain America #613
Part three of "The Trial of Captain America" arrives with one of the most striking images of 2011 — a resolute figure in the stars-and-stripes suit standing before what appears to be a courtroom podium, an enormous American flag draped dramatically behind him. Marko Djurdjević's cover work gives the scene a weighty, almost cinematic gravitas, perfectly suited to a story that puts the Captain America mantle itself on trial. Nomad also gets a spotlight callout on the cover, rounding out a packed issue from the Brubaker-Guice creative team.
