“Enemy Fire”

In "Enemy Fire," Captain America faces a growing crisis as his fading Super Soldier serum leaves him vulnerable, both physically and mentally. With long-dead foes resurfacing and his own identity under siege, Cap races to save Bernie and Diamondback from Blackout—only to clash violently with Super-Patriot, whose loyalty is as questionable as his methods. Written by Mark Gruenwald and illustrated by Dave Hoover, with inks by Danny Bulanadi, colors by George Roussos, and letters by Joe Rosen, this issue captures the tension of a hero pushed to his limits. The cover, also by Dave Hoover, reflects the storm brewing within.
