Captain America #17
The Iron Nail: Part 1" kicks off with a genuinely unnerving cover image: a grinning, bowler-hatted villain in carnival-ringmaster attire dominates the frame, casually cradling translucent bubbles that trap Captain America, the Falcon, and what appears to be a Thor-like figure — plus Cap's shield hovering separately in another orb. Nic Klein's cover art delivers a wonderfully sinister sense of scale, making the captive heroes look like snow-globe trinkets in this mysterious antagonist's hands. Rick Remender's 2014 run continues to promise high-stakes adventure, and this issue looks like a compelling opening chapter.
