Candy Comics #2 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Mopey" follows a moose who becomes entangled in complications when his friend needs a moose head for his parlor wall, leading to a series of comedic misadventures as Mopey tries to help. Another story tells of Hilton, a young performer in a circus act with his family whose act falls apart during wartime; he eventually enlists and becomes a decorated war hero after a daring grenade attack against enemy positions in the Pacific. "Scoop Scuttle" follows a newspaper editor dealing with various workplace crises, including conflicts with his staff and a troublesome tea company representative, while navigating gossip and office chaos.
