In "Brood Chapter Two: Queen Takes Bishop," Cable and Hope fight their way through a hostile ship teeming with Brood aliens, evading Bishop at every turn. With Hope sent into the vents to reunite with Emil and Cable thrown into space—only to be swallowed by a living Acanti vessel—the Brood Queen turns her attention to Bishop, capturing him and taking control. Written by Duane Swierczynski and illustrated by Gabriel Guzman, with inks by Mariano Taibo, colors by Thomas Mason, and letters by VC's Joe Caramagna, the cover by David Wilkins captures the tension of a battle on the edge of the abyss.

Cable and Hope battle through a ship full of Brood aliens while trying to stay out of Bishop's sights. Cable sends Hope into the ventilation system where she is reunited with Emil. Cable is thrown into space and swallowed by one of the Brood's living Acanti ships. The Brood Queen captures Bishop and puts him under her control.
