From the creative team of Kyle Higgins, Alec Siegel, and Rod Reis, this fifth chapter of "Principles of Power" arrives with one of the series' most arresting covers. Reis renders a dark silhouette of a suited figure — red scarf at the throat, a single puzzle piece clutched in one hand — standing at the center of a spiraling geometric web in deep greens and golds, the figure itself fragmented into puzzle pieces as though coming apart or being assembled. The stark design captures the tensions at the heart of the Chicago Organized Workers League beautifully, making this 2014 Image series feel as much like hardboiled noir as superhero fiction.
