Buster Brown #42

The issue contains two distinct stories. The first follows Gunga, who secures a chain to a massive forefoot and escapes into the jungle, where a great tusker elephant attempts to break free and a giant rogue elephant attacks a great tree. The second story centers on Andy, who dreams that a magical froggy character named Midnight transforms back into himself with a warning against magic during Easter Week; in Andy's dream, he wishes he were small enough to ride on an airplane with the gang. A separate narrative involving Puddles, a lonely dog, follows Marlena to a hospital where Puddles is taken many miles into the country instead of finding his lost love, Ballerina.
