The flying heroes trace the operation through the special ink used on the counterfeits, but when they raid The Engraver's hideout, they find themselves trapped and at the mercy of a desperate criminal with nothing left to lose.
In "Meet the Mocker," Jim Barr finds himself up against a criminal who thrives on mockery and chaos after a theater performance turns into a real-life mystery. When the Mocker strikes, leaving only laughter and confusion in his wake, the Flying Detectives must track down a foe who vanishes like smoke—leaving behind only the echo of a joke.
When a ruthless criminal called the Duke of Burke begins terrorizing a small town with theft and intimidation, Bulletman and Bulletgirl spring into action to stop his reign of terror. The masked duo must track down the Duke and his gang before they can consolidate power over the local law enforcement. It's a high-flying battle of wits and fists as our heroes work to restore order and bring the villain to justice.
High above the snowy peaks of the Rocky Mountains, Bulletman and Bulletgirl investigate a string of mysterious plane crashes at Crag Mountain—crashes the government can't explain. When a hidden radio transmitter and a suspicious hunting lodge point them toward a dangerous conspiracy, the young heroes must navigate treacherous mountain terrain and uncover a villain who's turned winter sports into instruments of murder and sabotage.
