# Buffalo Bill #6 (June 1951) The main story, "Chief Rain-in-the-Face," follows Buffalo Bill as he becomes entangled in frontier conflict during 1850. A young Sioux warrior named Chief Iron Eyes seeks to stop a white man named Blackie Japes from selling horses to soldiers, fearing the weapons will be used against his people. Buffalo Bill encounters the situation at Twin Rock, where he learns of Iron Eyes' concerns about the trade fueling conflict between the North and South. The story depicts Buffalo Bill navigating between settlers and Native Americans as tensions escalate over the horse trade and territorial disputes.
