In "Bad Medicine," Buffalo Bill journeys with Blue Bird and his recovering horse Gallant, accompanied by two bear cubs, when they’re ambushed by two Sioux braves who take Blue Bird and Gallant captive. After tracking them down and fending off the attackers, Buffalo Bill reunites with Blue Bird only to stumble upon the aftermath of a brutal raid—only a young girl and her infant remain from a destroyed Blackfoot camp. The grim discovery leads Bill to suspect the hand of Scar Scanlin’s renegade gang, setting him on a new path through the frontier’s dangers.
