Few covers in Marvel's 2015 lineup are as quietly disarming as this one: Bucky Barnes — his mechanical arm unmistakable — strides through a field of sunflowers with a small child perched on his shoulders, the two of them flying a kite against a vast, luminous sky. Michael Del Mundo's painted art bathes the scene in soft greens and warm yellows, making it feel less like a superhero title and more like a pastoral dream. Aleš Kot and Langdon Foss continue "Chapter Seven: Appropriate Response," and if this tender, windswept image is any indication, the series remains one of Marvel's most unexpectedly poetic ongoing adventures.
