Buck Duck #3

This Atlas Comics gem from 1953 captures Buck Duck's cheerful chaos perfectly — the eager duck declares "Boy! I'm gonna start off my job as a waiter with a smash!" as he barrels through a swinging kitchen door, blissfully unaware he's about to collide with a fellow waiter balancing a precarious tower of plates and cups. Ed Winiarski's lively linework gives both figures a wonderful rubbery energy, all speed lines and flying feet against that bold red background. Pure slapstick fun at ten cents a copy.
