From Atlas Comics' 1953 funny-animal lineup comes this delightful slice of baseball chaos — Buck Duck finds himself squashed flat on the diamond, wedged between a fuming bear batter and a smirking pig catcher, while two smaller animal fans tumble in the dust around them. Buck's dazed "I WASN'T LOOKING!" speech bubble says it all, and Ed Winiarski's expressive linework wrings every last drop of slapstick out of the scene. A charming ten-cent treat that captures the breezy, good-natured humor Atlas brought to its humor titles in the early fifties.
