The cover of this 2008 Top Cow finale says it all — a commanding, horned figure clad in elaborate gold armor stands at the center, surrounded by a menacing mass of dark, snarling creatures and a towering serpentine dragon looming behind her. Stjepan Šejić's cover art bristles with tension, the golden warrior's calm composure set against the chaos of demonic beasts pressing in from every angle. Ron Marz brings the Broken Trinity saga to its "fatal conclusion" with this third issue, and the cover alone makes clear the stakes are anything but small.

As the Curator explains the 13 artifacts of power to Patrick, evidence of his tale explodes all around them as the Angelus battles the Darkness and Finn battles Glori. When the dust finally settles, Celestine has been killed and the power of the Angelus flies off to find another host. The Curator sends Finn out into the world with a few magical items and a modicum of control over his new found ice giant powers.
