Spinning out of the pages of Invincible, Brit #5 delivers a cover that grabs you immediately — a white-haired woman, cigarette clenched between her teeth and fury blazing in her eyes, tears a dark tentacle apart with her bare, bloodied fist while more writhing tendrils coil around her. Cliff Rathburn's cover art captures a character who looks like she gives as good as she gets, wrapped in a scarf and absolutely refusing to be pulled down. With Bruce Brown writing and Andy Kuhn on interior art, this 2008 Image series continues to carve out its own gritty corner of the Invincible universe.
