Brit #3
Spinning out of the pages of Invincible, Brit #3 (2007) delivers a kinetic cover by Cliff Rathburn that pulls no punches — a massive, monstrous pink-skinned creature with a tentacle-like tail lunges forward with a feral snarl, while a silver-haired woman in a blue-and-black costume squares up with fists ready, and a powerfully built bald man with a cybernetic arm holds his ground in the background. The trio crashing through debris makes for a genuinely compelling scene, with Rathburn's linework giving every figure real physical weight and menace. With Bruce Brown writing and Andy Kuhn on interior art, this Image series continues to carve out its own corner of the Invincible universe.
