In "The Bottled Blabber," Elmer finds himself caught in a whirlwind of historical mischief when he and Daffy Duck accidentally activate his uncle Fignewton Fudd’s time machine, whisking them back to the era of Hadrian’s Wall. There, they stumble upon a secret scheme by barbarians aiming to disrupt the Romans’ newly built communication system between guard towers. Written by Vic Lockman and illustrated by Phil De Lara, with vibrant colors by the Western Publishing Production Shop and crisp lettering by Rome Siemen, this 1979 adventure brings a classic Looney Tunes twist to ancient history—complete with Joe Messerli’s dynamic cover.
