“The Bottled Blabber”

In "The Bottled Blabber," Elmer's eccentric uncle Fignewton Fudd unveils a sound-trapping jug, leading Elmer and Daffy Duck on a wild trip through time to Hadrian’s Wall—where they stumble upon a secret scheme by barbarians to disrupt the Romans’ communication system. With the fate of the wall’s defenses hanging in the balance, the trio must outwit ancient conspirators using nothing but wits, a jar full of noise, and a time machine that’s more trouble than it’s worth. Written by Vic Lockman and illustrated by Phil De Lara, this 1968 adventure features bold artwork and a delightfully absurd premise, all wrapped in a cover by De Lara that captures the chaos in vibrant detail.
