Boys' and Girls' March of Comics #217
In "The Moonlight Prowler," Timmy and Jody team up with their dog Lassie and their dog Skipper to investigate a spooky, bat-infested haunted house where a mysterious light has been spotted. As the boys navigate creaking floors and hidden dangers, Lassie leads them through a series of eerie clues—culminating in a dramatic reveal when the hobo squatter, startled by a falling lamp, flees into the pond. The story, written by Gaylord Du Bois and illustrated by Bob Fujitani with inks by Fujitani, captures the classic charm of 1961 Western comics, blending mystery and heart in a tale that’s equal parts suspense and adventure.
