Boy Illustories #52 is an anthology featuring three C.B. stories by Charles Biro. "C.B. Battles the Maddest Criminal of All Time—The Ape!" follows C.B. and Squeeks as they pursue a dangerous criminal who has created a Frankenstein-like monster; the case culminates in a courtroom trial where the evidence of the criminal's guilt is presented. The other two stories advertised are "C.B. and the Fantastic Riddle of Philbert's Family Tree" and "C.B.
