The second chapter of Cullen Bunn's New Orleans-flavored horror series arrives with a cover by Lee Garbett that sets an immediate, unsettling mood: a massive, smoke-like supernatural entity billows upward from a lone house surrounded by graveyard crosses, its dark tendrils unfurling into something almost face-like against a deep emerald sky. The image beautifully captures the series' tension between the mundane — a dimly lit home on an ordinary street — and the monstrous forces seemingly rising from it. With interior art by Jonas Scharf and colors by Alex Guimarães, Bone Parish #2 looks to deepen its blend of crime drama and genuine supernatural dread.
