The Lemonade Kid's shortcut through the abandoned mining town of Spooktown takes a dangerous turn when he stumbles upon a wrecked car, a fortune in stolen diamonds, and a criminal smuggling operation using an old mine as a tunnel to Mexico. With the help of Pete and others, the Kid must navigate the ghost town's deadly secrets and stop the diamond thieves before they slip across the border.
During the fall roundup, Bobby Benson and Tex Mason discover Circle-X cattle trespassing on their range and suspect Bull Jarris of more than just rustling—but their suspicions deepen when a mysterious drifter arrives at the B-Bar-B and proves far more than he seems. When the stranger slips away during a night raid on their herd, Bobby follows him to the Circle-X ranch and uncovers a five-year-old vendetta that's about to explode in gunfire.
