Bob Swift, Boy Sportsman #2

Bob Swift goes on a fishing trip with his friend Dave, where they have a successful outing catching fish and bass. Soon after, Bob and his date Ruthie head to a prom, where Ruthie shows off expensive wolf furs she's wearing. When Bob expresses surprise at the cost, Ruthie reveals that Bob bought them for her, though Bob insists he shot them himself. Later, Bob recounts to Ruthie a hunting adventure in Manitoba where he and his father went to hunt moose; during a snowstorm while searching for moose, Bob encounters a dangerous moose surrounded by wolves, which he must confront.
