Bob Colt and his partner Pablo recover a map from a burro that was hidden by a killer, leading them to search for the map's location. When the killer fails to find the map first, Bob and Pablo use the burro's long ears to locate it. In a subplot, Bob encounters an ornery prospector and teaches him a lesson through a physical altercation after the man threatens innocent people.
