"How Was the Word Radar Derived?" shows a pilot named Scott and his companion experiencing instrument failures in their aircraft as they approach a glacier, eventually landing safely and discovering a crashed plane. "In What Century Did King Arthur Supposedly Reign?" follows a character named Terry attempting to convince Lancelot Cashmore, a participant in a knighthood pageant at Civic Stadium, that his life is in danger, but Cashmore dismisses the warnings and is later found unconscious, apparently from a local anesthetic.
