Blue Bolt defeats an army and rescues Doctor Bruce and his daughter from the Green Goblin's forces, after which Blue Bolt's Hollywood adventures come to a close and he returns to Farr Military Academy. The White Rider and Super Horse encounter a burning railroad and armed men firing into the flames, with the locomotive engineer wounded. The President of the United States sends the S.S. Stalwart to Singapore on a mercy mission to rescue American refugees, but evil Captain Gorling aboard a hidden trawler intercepts the message and plots to sabotage the American liner and draw the United States into the spreading Second World War.
