Blue Beetle finds himself in serious trouble in this 2012 New 52 entry, as the cover — penciled and inked by Paul Renaud — shows Jaime Reyes in his blue-and-black scarab armor being seized by the grotesque, skeletal hands of Stopwatch, whose looming, bespectacled face dominates the background. The tagline "Time's Not on Your Side When Facing Stopwatch!" sets an ominous tone that writer Tony Bedard and artist Marcio Takara carry into the aptly titled story "Even a Broken Clock Is Right Twice a Day."
