Part of DC Universe Rebirth, this April 2017 issue puts Blue Beetle squarely in the middle of a ferocious showdown — the cover by Scott Kolins shows Jaime Reyes in full scarab armor, energy crackling around a raised fist and a shimmering blue shield forming at his side, while a massive green-armored figure looms behind him with claws raised. The cover copy announces "Mayhem is the man called Mordecai," teasing the threat that Kolins and Keith Giffen have lined up for their hero.
