Blue Beetle #3

Part of DC's 2017 Rebirth initiative, Blue Beetle #3 puts Jaime Reyes front and center — quite literally — as the scarab-armored hero faces a massive swarm of insectoid creatures closing in from every direction against a blazing orange sky. Scott Kolins's cover composition, colored vividly by Romulo Fajardo Jr., places Blue Beetle with his back to the reader, antennae raised and armor glowing, utterly surrounded and outnumbered. The tagline says it all: "Trapped and Outbugged!" — promising a tense, creepy-crawly chapter from writers Keith Giffen and Scott Kolins.
