DC's 2016 limited series continues with Bloodlines #2, subtitled "Forsaken," and the cover makes a striking impression — a dark-haired young woman in a school uniform crackles with surging white energy, her glowing eyes hinting at power she may not fully control, while a dramatic wing-like explosion of light erupts behind her. V Ken Marion's pencils and Sean Parsons' inks give the moment real intensity, with Andrew Dalhouse's deep purples amplifying the sense that something extraordinary — and maybe dangerous — has been unleashed. J. T. Krul's six-issue series keeps building its teen-powered premise, and this second chapter looks like exactly the right place to get drawn in deeper.
