Blondie Comics Monthly #58
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeChic Young's beloved domestic comedy strip comes to life in this September 1953 Harvey issue, where the cover captures a perfectly chaotic household moment — Blondie, wide-eyed in her red dress and apron, runs a roaring vacuum cleaner that sends Dagwood spinning helplessly through the air, hat flying, newspaper still in hand, with a startled child caught up in the whirl. The bright yellow background and that emphatic "RRRRRR" sound effect give the whole scene an irresistible, slapstick energy that fans of the strip will recognize immediately. Promising all-new stories "special for this issue," this is a charming slice of 1953 funny-page fun at its most cheerfully relatable.

Cookie gets a water can stuck on her head and Dagwood demonstrates how it happens, getting it stuck on his head, too. Then he sets out to cut the grass, but gets involved in a poker game. When he finds the grass cut, he thinks he must have cut it and forgotten, but Blondie knows better, since she cut it with Cookie's help.
