Chic Young's beloved domestic comedy comes to Charlton in this June 1969 issue, with cover art by Paul Fung Jr. capturing a delightfully chaotic sequence: Dagwood confidently boasts "My legs are as good as ever!" before a series of WHOOSH, WHUMF, and CRASH panels sends him tumbling right into an unsuspecting Herb — prompting a sheepish "I'm sorry, Herb! I didn't know you were in the house!" The multi-panel cover design gives the whole thing the kinetic energy of a pratfall you can almost hear, perfectly setting up the story "Race Against Father Time!" inside.
