This volume collects chapters 46 through 54 of Tite Kubo's supernatural action series, continuing Ichigo Kurosaki's mission to rescue Rukia Kuchiki from the Soul Society. As Ichigo and his allies infiltrate the Seireitei, they face off against the Gotei 13's lieutenants and captains, including a pivotal confrontation with the lieutenant of the 11th Division. The volume also introduces the character of Ganju Shiba, who joins the rescue team with his own motives and abilities.
