This November 1994 issue puts the tension front and center with a striking close-up cover by Douglas Wheatley and Steve Moncuse: Blade's face, dreadlocks splayed between them, locked in a snarling, jaw-to-jaw standoff with the monstrous Night Terror, whose pallid, fang-baring grimace fills the left half of the image. The composition is raw and immediate, all teeth and fury against a vivid red background. With Ian Edginton scripting "Soul Survivors" and Wheatley's interior art, this issue of Blade: The Vampire-Hunter delivers exactly the kind of visceral horror-action the series does so well.
