Blackwood College opens its iron gates in this 2018 Dark Horse series from writer Evan Dorkin and artists Veronica Fish and Andy Fish. The cover — rendered in Veronica Fish's rich purples, pinks, and moonlit yellows — frames a gothic Victorian campus building bathed in an enormous full moon, bats wheeling overhead, while a lone figure with luggage steps through the college's wrought-iron entrance gate. Looming above it all are swooping ravens, a wide-eyed owl, a cloaked figure, and shadowy supernatural presences lurking at the edges, promising that whatever gets studied at Blackwood College, it's nothing found in an ordinary curriculum.
