Blackhawk #35
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBlackhawk #35 from Quality Comics packs a remarkable amount of adventure into its December 1950 package — 52 big full-width pages and five complete stories, headlined by "The Black Dervish of Death" and including "The Strongest Man On Earth," "The Fiendish Brain," "Reapers of Starvation," and a Chop Chop tale. The cover, a swirling desert melee, shows robed and turbaned warriors on horseback clashing with figures in the Blackhawk team's familiar uniforms, swords flashing amid billowing cloaks while the team's portrait heads line the sides of the masthead. At a dime a copy, this was an extraordinary value, and the cover copy's cry of "Jehad! The dread cry resounds across the burning desert of El Shaitan!" makes it clear the squadron is in for a wild ride.
