The rest of the Blackhawks discover that the renegade scientist is an old World War II enemy, Colonel Frog. He has captured Blackhawk and has him under his control. Colonel Frog leads a coup against the country's dictator with a spider-like war machine and eventually uses a mind-control gas to have all the Blackhawks obeying his orders.
