This French-language collection of Rick Remender and Matteo Scalera's Black Science, subtitled L'Impossible Odyssée, arrives from Urban Comics with a striking cover that hurls two figures through a burst of blazing yellow light above a sprawling cityscape — one cloaked in red, the other in a dark military-style coat, both caught mid-flight amid a chaos of scattered birds. Moreno Dinisio's colors give the whole scene a cinematic urgency that perfectly captures the dimension-hopping spirit of the series. A great entry point into one of 2016's most visually inventive sci-fi comics in the Franco-Belgian market.
