This French-language edition from Urban Comics collects the second arc of Rick Remender, Matteo Scalera, and Dean White's dimension-hopping series, subtitled La Boîte de Pandore. The cover draws the eye immediately to a group of helmeted figures in the foreground, their expressions tense beneath their visors as they face an enormous, otherworldly structure looming against a vivid, storm-lit sky — the sense of scale and dread is palpable. Scalera's kinetic linework and White's rich, surreal color palette make this 2015 volume as visually striking as it is narratively propulsive.
