Black Hood #7

Someone else has taken up the mantle — the cover of this July 1992 Impact Comics release makes that tension explicit with its bold tagline "Horton Wears the Hood!" A figure in the Black Hood's distinctive masked costume stands wide-legged in front of a Seaside City sign, dual weapons blazing and shell casings flying, set against a stylized urban skyline. Rick Burchett's cover art delivers a striking image that raises plenty of questions about who's behind that hood and what they're doing with it.
