Jeff Lemire and artist Caitlin Yarsky continue their return to the Black Hammer universe with this quietly poignant third issue from Dark Horse. The cover, painted by Yarsky with colors by Dave Stewart, says everything with a single image: a superhero in a yellow lightning-bolt costume stands in a laundromat, clutching a red rose and a heart-shaped box of chocolates with his blue-gloved hand, his expression somewhere between wistful and weary.
