The cover's stark tagline — "The wily Black Stallion knew he was being trailed; he managed to keep ahead of man and beast until the Montana killer-storm struck..." — sets up the story "White Death" with real atmospheric menace. Joe Gill's script and Rocco Mastroserio's interior art bring the rest of this tense wilderness tale to life for twelve cents.
