Part one of "The Midnight King Returns to Earth" opens with a striking image: the Inhumans' silent sovereign kneeling in chains beneath a towering, ominous structure as a brilliant white light blazes above him against a vivid magenta sky swarming with ravens. Christian Ward's cover art — both written and illustrated by the same creative team responsible for the interiors — bathes the scene in breathtaking neon pinks, electric blues, and deep purples that make the Midnight King's predicament feel genuinely mythic in scale. If this 2018 Marvel Legacy chapter is any indication, Black Bolt's road home is anything but simple.
