The king of the Inhumans stares out from behind prison bars on this striking opening issue, his piercing blue eyes and iconic antenna emblem the only things cutting through an enveloping darkness. Christian Ward's cover design is brilliantly stark — a masked face half-obscured, half-caged, immediately conveying a figure of immense power brought low. Writer Saladin Ahmed and Ward make a compelling creative team for a series that promises something thoughtful and unconventional for one of Marvel's most fascinating characters.
